Genscreen announces that the in-house RESET project has completed initial testing and shall be renamed “Hervian”.
The intention is to eventually outlicense the Hervian monoclonal antibody for optimisation and humanisation.
Hervian is relevant for diseases such as cancer (prostate, breast, head & neck) and multiple sclerosis.
Hervian project also includes the discovery and development of a small molecule inhibitor - designated as R200-series.
Hervain R200 is being developed as a treatment for people with chronic viral infections, including potential application for HIV, HSV, EBV and also to treat Influenza.
